Welcome to Two Dog Press
Welcome to Two Dog Press, a virtual dog house specializing in fun, frisky dog books and gifts--and canine food for thought. If you have dogs, love dogs, or spoil dogs you've come to the right place! You'll find lots of pup-related resources and diversions here -- from dog treat recipes, stories and articles to an extensive selection of links to other cool dog sites. So give your dog a bone and have fun sniffing around....
Woof! After more than 15 years (more than a lifetime for a big dog!) of shopdogging, we've decided to explore new trails and transition Two Dog Press to an information-only site. Although we still talk about our favorite dog gifts, recommend places to shop, and continue to support dog charities by making product donations, we no longer sell dog stuff. Most of our former product pages will direct you to a reliable source (based on our vendor experience; we don't accept advertising). Thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you and your dogs! Keep wagging!
For Our Loyal, Much-Loved Friends and Companions
This site is dedicated to the memory of L. "Mac" MacPherson, Maynard Minus Music, Mitchell, and Harry, our founder dogs and frequent canine inspirations. Mac was a good dog with a big heart and memorable personality. Our ever-industrious Mr. Maynard was loving, loyal, somewhat goofy, and infinitely patient. Mitchell was our ambassadog of good will and friendship. He never met a person or dog he didn't like and thought everyone should be as wet as he wanted to be! And Handsome Harry was a sweet and silly pup, who had many signature moves and very expressive eyebrows. Harry was a licensed therapy dog who made many people of all ages smile. He will always be our special "white" dog. We miss you boys so much!
Make a difference in the wake of natural disasters that leave dogs homeless, lost, or injured! Please support organizations like Noah's Wish, the Disaster Relief Fund of the Humane Society of the United States, and the American Veterinary Medical Foundation in their efforts to help animals in need. To help humans, please give generously to the American Red Cross or your national relief charity of choice.
